Dreams
Of all the worries, anxious moments and doubts, Sarah’s serious reaction to meflaquin, the anti-malaria med. wasn’t even on the list. Lions & tigers & bears, yes. Hunger, drought, bugs, maybe. Homesickness and lonliness, absolutely. Not meflaquin nightmares. Oh, baby.
Sarah, I looked up “animists” and this is a belief that souls or spirits exists not only in humans but also in animals, plants, rocks, thunder & rivers. Oh, my, what am I going to tell the Lutherans tomorrow? But then my labrador thinks he is perfect proof of this!
I thought a lot about the zaga zaga zio recipe from Mali. Not very long, however. I did go to my friend’s bookstore today, which sadly is closing, and bought a cookbook; Recipies from the QE2. Now we’re talking. Here’s one that was served on the Queen Elizabeth 2 when Ringo Starr and George Harrison gave impromptu performances during a 1969 Transatlantic Crossing; Sesame Crusted Tuna Steak in Wasabi Sauce. Now this is going to be great. Really, we’re having tuna casserole. See, we all have our dreams. I hope you sleep well.
